Dad: Leaving a Legacy

“Legacy” is defined as “something transmitted by or received from an ancestor or predecessor.” Dad, you are called by God to be the “provider” and “protector” of your family. Is this your legacy? Do your children rise up and say, my dad protected and provided for our family and showed me how it was done, so I can pass it on and do the same for my family.

Dad, you’ve been placed in a wonderful position in your household. Take on the responsibility and the challenge that the Lord has given you. Your heart must be rooted and grounded in the Word of God so that what God says is final in your life and in your families. HOW? BY EXAMPLE! 1. You be the one to teach and train your children. 2. You be the one to pray for your family. 3. You reap the benefits of your Fatherhood.
