Our Mission

”Being The Hands And Feet Of Christ To A World In Need”

• We partner with Shoebox Ministries to provide toiletries, supplies and clothing
• We help prepare Sack Lunches for Church on the Street to be distributed to the homeless
• We help to provide water, hats and sunscreen to the Phoenix Rescue Mission for distribution to the homeless during the summer months
• We collect school supplies for our DVC children and teachers and donate the extra supplies to various schools
• We maintain a food pantry
• We work with ‘Toys For Tots’ to help provide Christmas for 3 churches

Having a heart  for helping those in need, the lives of many people have been touched by this ministry.

Jesus said " as you have done unto the least of these, you have done it unto me"

You are welcome to become a part of this ministry through your donations and/or as a helper. Here are a few of our needs:

1. Food: We need non-perishable food staples. Tryto get them when they are on sale.
2. Clothing: We need good, clean, reusable items. They are rotated out of the Helping Hands Room every four weeks.
3. Kitchen items: We need small, good reusable items (dishes, cutlery, glasses, utensils, etc.).
4. Shoebox Ministry: "Restoring Dignity to the Homeless." We need donations of new personal items 9deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, lotaions, socks, underwear, etc.). Check brochure in the Helping Hands Room. We will follow up with certain Holidays – Christmas, Mothers' Day, Fathers' Day, etc. The greatest need during the summer is deodorant and shampoo.
5. Christmas Angels: Let's start early! We can start donating clothes and toys. Please leave tags on with sizes. New items only. See the list in the Helping Hands room for suggestions.
